Dr. Palmer will use a contextually-specific iteration of her empirically-supported proprietary framework to increase practitioners’ knowledge and self-efficacy with culturally responsive practices. This workshop applies to school-based settings, or any client-driven services. These workshops are especially helpful for environments with high populations of learners in need of academic support. Using brain-based research, her own experience in self-contained , inclusion , and general education classrooms, Dr. Palmer provides practical instructional and management strategies that benefit the whole classroom community. This workshop arms general education teachers to leverage special education strategies to increase inclusionary practices and improve outcomes for all students.

Through equity audit frameworks rooted in research-based practices, Dr. Palmer supports institutional evaluations of environmental factors that impact student, client, or employee sense of belonging. Dr. Palmer leverages her career and expertise in the science of learning to increase your organization’s understanding of neurodiversity and its manifestations in the classroom and/or workplace. This workshop supports those seeking to improve internal inclusionary practices via employee and practitioner education. An overview of most frequently seen neurodiverse learning profiles is catered to your environment to support more broad knowledge, understanding, and empathy for the community members within and/or involved with your school or organization.
