Thanks Amanda - we loved your energy and passion, and it left us wanting to continue (and we have in our departments).

Thank you for being the wonderful mentor and great teacher that you are. I had a last minute change for my intern and you took her under your wings and talked with her about the student she is following. Thank you!

Without you, I would not know how to create a safe space for my learners. Thank you for everything you've taught me over the years.

We are a school that prides itself on knowing the students because we are a small community. This in-service day made me realize how relevant and important that goal is. I thought about what more I can do to better know and understand my students and how to have that more directly affect the ways in which I teach and engage with students throughout the day.

I really loved the session. Thank you for taking the time to work with us and grow with us. I thought you did a great job balancing the history and lead up to the concepts with the practice. The morning flew by - that is always a good sign in my book!

I feel like this class is a family to me, even though it's only been a few weeks.

Last night [student] said, "I hope I have Ms. Palmer next year." I asked why. He said, "Because she’ll push me. She doesn’t let me take the easy way out." Best compliment ever!

I was just on the phone with [parent] discussing... why she gives to the Annual Fund. She could not say enough GREAT things about you and the bond you and [student] formed. She is so incredibly grateful for how you helped [student] come out of her shell and become a successful and confident learner.

Thank you, as always, for welcoming me so graciously into your classroom! You have such a fun, flexible, and supportive way of working with your students and I so appreciate your letting me jump in.

We all appreciate how open you and your students have been, in inviting a small army of us to come over and see what you have created in your classroom. Those who have observed have all come away inspired and excited, and that is a real tribute to the community feeling that you and your students have built this school year.

Amanda is an absolute gem! My 4th grader was struggling academically and I was getting minimal help/direction from the school. Amanda helped me understand all the different resources available both inside and outside the school, and provided insightful guidance with regards to getting maximum assistance from the school. With Amanda’s help, I was able to evolve from a concerned parent with lack of direction, to a informed parent with a game plan and clarity on how to move forward. I can’t express how valuable Amanda has been to my child’s future academic success!

You, Ms. Palmer, have made me feel better in many ways. One is that sometimes you make me laugh, or we talk about it. Another reason is Ms. Palmer you have changed my life by teaching me to advocate when I need more time or when I need help. The third reason is you made my life different like playing the Justin Bieber song or your weird dances and just being weird and funny. Lastly, Ms. Palmer you have given me so much positive impact and you have taught me so many things I will never forget. Those are my reasons why I chose Ms. Palmer as my International Women's Day person.

Ms. Palmer, you were amazing with [student] today. He had a rough morning and you were so helpful getting him back on track so he was able to do multiple assignments on his own.

We have a tradition at the start of the Thanksgiving dinner... each person gets to talk about what they are thankful for in the last year. [Student] said that she is thankful for getting 'to be at a new school this year where they know how to teach me the way I learn best.' She paused and then said, 'I'm just a happier kid this year.' Needless to say, we completely teared up. Thank you for all of your hard work and your support.

Just thinking (as I do frequently) about how you gave me the most serious dose of reality about myself so early in my career and really helped make me better. I still talk about you frequently when I reference my training, personal / professional development, and mentors. It changed EVERYTHING for me. I appreciate you endlessly. ❤️

I wanted to let you know what a difference you have made in [student's] life as his teacher. Under your guidance he blossomed, developing a love for school and everything he was learning there. He matured and seemed to take things in his stride in a way he never had before. You helped him so much with his reading and as his reading improved his self-confidence soared. So, not only did you make a difference in his life, you made a difference in the lives of his family. We have all been cheering for [him] for a good while and it makes us so happy to see him happy. We cannot thank you enough for the love and caring you shared with [student] and all the children you teach. You are definitely in the right profession. You make children shine.
